Terra Wide Data Mining (TWDM) Testbed
The Terra Wide Data Mining Testbed (TWDM) conists of DSTP clusters, which are connected with optical links using StarLight as the optical interchange point. There are DSTP-clusters at four locations:
- StarLight in Chicago
- Laboratory for Advanced Computing at the Unniversity of Illinois at Chicago, connected via OMNInet
- SARA in Amsterdam, connected via Surfnet
- Ottawa, connected via CANARIE
The Terabyte Challenge Testbed
The Terabyte Challenge (TC) Testbed consists of DSTP-clusters located at several sites and connected with OC-3 and higher links, which are interconnected at Startap in Chicago. The sites include:
- StarLight in Chicago
- NCAR in Denver
- Dalhousie University Computer Science
- Parallel Data Center, Royal Institute of Technology, Stockholm
- Internet 2, Ann Arbor
